    Good question. Is knowledge power?

An inspired participant has to acquiesce and submit to the BIG LIE (systemically) in order to "get ahead"
and earn the right to have a "meaningful relationship" with the dominant power structure.

Obedience and subservience are therefore embedded within the algorithm of "climbing
the ladder," "getting ahead" or whatever ego-driven meme one becomes infatuated by.

The system benefits from the fact -- by the time you "wake up" and realize the ruse -- its too late!
    Your ass is already OWNED!

Irony #1:  only through material poverty can one become systematically unattached and therefore liberated.

The "mark of the beast" (enslavement to the system) is everywhere...

    Have a nice day!

    hugs & kisses!

    Or blind luck.

iRobot went up over $10 a share yesterday (it passed $80 a share)...something told me to buy it a while back at $22.  So I did.  My biggest question before I die might be "Why didn't I buy more?"  ;)

Like how this descends rather literally into some serious shit. Not that death isn't serious. You know I think there is a message here but I don't isnt it the other way around: those in power are the servants of intellectuals.

Interesting stuff...  For me the topic seems to be about living an "authentic" life as opposed to assimilation.
But of course that's an oversimplification...

    Thanks Michael.

My dominate power, God, is different.  You don't have to earn anything.  All you have to do is ask.

Is there a secret handshake or password?

Always wondered if Frog gets mad if you call him/her/it weird names like Javier, Jay Hovah or Sweetie Pie?

    Hi Ton.

One reality check:  how one lives their life.  Authenticity could be adhering to questionable truths, usually because one deems oneself or one's tribe special.

King Kong just fell in love with Beauty.  But what Beauty represented, whose tribe she belonged to was not-so-beautiful.

p.s. For me this is the essence of it all.  Our humanity and inhumanity.

Not according to the "perennial" -- i.e., having attained the 1000-point Lotus and thus living from the Heart Chakra.

One cannot achieve "authenticity" and remain dominated by the bottom chakras -- where the impulse of tribe etc. resides.

I avoided "nice" like the plague. Okay ... it's better than nice, that's all ...

Too much "1967 Mission St. Coffee Stout" for 3PM.

I can't bring myself to write anything that validates the current state of "reality" in any hollow graphic manner whatsoever!

Your non-linear shit. This poem is homotopic to a straight line.

Just evaluate the second Galois cohomology group of your poem and you'll be cruisin'

The quote is actually "Most intellectuals..." and goes on "However every society has critical intellectuals at its edges. Both types have influence: the servants of power and the dissidents." So I guess we can relax now. C
