I know what everybody loves to say about the weather’s
right, ability and tendency to change, but certain days—
bright sunshine, breezy, skidding clouds—won’t flip-flop
into rain; an overcast cannot assemble until nearly dusk
and no precipitation can begin to drop before night falls;
no court will even hear a case against such full-day sun.
