Cornfields made him think of sex.
Clouds made him think of sex.

Anything that came out
of the glowing car radio at night
went right into his brain.

The mothers stopped liking him
so he got along with the daughters.

Menace?  What menace?
He liked driving fast through cornfields
on cloudy nights
with the radio loud.

That would be - because he was thinking of sex. Right?

Loved it.

Love how you've turned an old jest into something magical and loud.

PS. Will be a pick, anon.

Very refreshing.  I like the "logic" of what you report in stanza 3 and I like the emphasis given the last word.  It reminds me of a joke I heard about a man at a therapy session, answering his therapist's question about why the dropping of a handkerchief reminded him of sex, "Everything reminds me of sex."

Excellent Rick. I'm smiling and nodding, people are staring, but I don't care. This is poetry.
Thank you.
