Are you publishing?

If so, let our members know where, when, what.
Books, magazines, journals, newspapers, blogs, self-published, first-time, last-time, whatever.
Tell us the details.

I've got the stark poems out to two contests by university presses, and I'm scouring the web for a non-entry fee publisher for them. Any suggestions, anyone?
Mostly I self-publish on
http://sleepswithbear.wordpress.com
, writing too much to wait for months for a reply.

Congrats, Brian and Lavonne!
Does photography count? I seem to be having better luck with that these days...
My visual story (of sorts)
will be in the January edition of
Frame Lines
. Now I just have to figure out how to turn a slide show into a static experience without losing the sense of motion...

The definition of being 'published' is changing so rapidly. I have independantly published a collection of my own work, "The Puzzle Box". I post new poems in my blog 'gingaTao'. This week a poem of mine is appearing in the e-journal 'Bolts Of Silk'. In February I'll be in Descanto magazine. Oh that all sounds like a terrible case of blowing my own horn but I just wanted to point out that these days, being a 'published poet' is easier than ever before. It's a bright new world, full of possibilities.

GOT POETRY December 2008 Editors Picks
SEJOUR silent lotus
http://www.gotpoetry.com/News/article/sid=22942.html
As 2008 draws to a close, I would like to remind you all that GP has completed ten years. In these ten years, we have witnessed its staggering growth and it has become an attractive poetic destination for many all over the world.
I would like to thank all the members, staff and curators who has contributed immensely for making GP what it is.
'Sejour' by silent lotus is Bogeyman's choice for this month. There's serenity in this poem. beautiful nostalgic images take me away from the daily grind, inspire me to look beyond the horizon. like most of the poems by silent lotus, this one is best whispered... is what Bogeyman has to say about this poem.
I sign off for this year. See you guys in 2009!! Have a happy holiday season! .......Mamta

Nimrod International Journal,
along with "Road Work in Baja and the Middle School Boy". It's been a while since my work's been submitted, much less, accepted! yahOO! Just had to share with all of you, especially those who helped me fine tune the work. Thanks all

Klaus Thiemann has told me he will be opening 2009 at Outlaw Poetry with my poem The road to Damascus. This was just about the first poem I submitted to Poetry Circle, May 2006, and now proudly sits in the Front Page Archive, P5.
I feel in such good company on two such different sites.

Thanks, silent,
The editor of Orbis, Carole Baldock, was wonderful. I sent two poems, which were rejected---but she took the time to e-mail me, and told me that although those 2 weren't quite what they were looking for, that she was intrigued ---and invited me to send 2 more, which I did, with more success. She also made some editing suggestions and was just very helpful in general. Google Orbis poetry mag. for the guidelines if you're interested.
