  The Evidence

The Evidence

In the bushes. In the middle
of filtered light:

this
is the scene.

Wild Asian geese
squawk:

these
are the characters involved.

Haze, slimy needles of grass
and distant noise:

this
is the mood.

Empty, cement
solitude:

these
are the emotions.

People enter
and anxiety is added.

We do not know
their thoughts.

Their
own thoughts confirm this.

There are many complications
to the steady image.

The distance of the narrator is compelling and yet sterile and introspective all at once.

Interesting work.

Ahem! Thanks Larry. I am always interested in the psychological narrator.
