Hello, my name is Jess. I am eighteen and currently living in Syracuse, NY and studying Landscape Architecture. I started writing about a month ago. I had actually wanted to go to school for writing, but I didn't think my ability was up to par. I love reading and my favorite writers are Marcel Proust, Charles Bukowski and F. Scott Fitzgerald. I greatly appreciate all critiques and advice, as I'd like to improve. Thank you.

Greetings, Jess.

So you study eco-shpilkes and earthiness, up there on the hill. Good. And you wanted to go to school for writing, not so good. I think creative writing is a misnomer, a bit like being christened under the pump in a tap-room. You're already quite unique in this regard and, with a lot of fun and practise, could well excel— pulp and paper, notwithstanding. I wish you well, Jess.
