Hi All

Here is a recording of the great Milner Place made at the Heart cafe in Leeds in Jan 2012 (details below)
The audio quality is not the best, but is still quite clear - the slight hum in the background is the air-con, but hopefully not to intrusive. message me if you have any problems listening to it.

Just click on the link below, and you browser should download the file - it's an 23Mb mp3 file, so might take a few mins. PM me with any problems.

Cheers all

Roger

I've just got back from the Leeds event, where I met Milner in person - and he is just as charming, warm and witty face to face as in verse, with a wicked sense of humor and laugh - and boy let me tell you, this man can read poetry!

We were treated to several extracts from his long poem "City of Flowers" about Cordoba, a work of great color, insight and beauty (and which I am now the proud owner of in book form),  as well a from his book of 'Joe and Maisie Fay' poems, and four more recent pieces - all great stuff, and it really brought the evening to life.

The other poets very rather good as well, and great time was had by all.
