This reminds me a little of Henry Rollin's "American Hardcore."  He is an angry music man/poet...same feel but totally different.  In that poem a woman doesn't have enough money to buy all of her items at the store, so she puts her tampons back and buys booze.  To me it is shocking to use the p word in a poem, but I am female.  I don't know if that is the difference.  I like your writing and that you use so few words.

Casey,

thanks for the read
and feedback.  it's
never my intention
to offend, but i like
to write without boundaries.

thanks again, and i look
forward to reading more
of your work as well.

Tiko, now you've been likened to Black Flag... you've arrived!

It's the other P-word that offends me... "print" - I think the poem could be stronger without it. Dug...

dear Tiko

i like how you counter intimate familiarity with formality
by using Jessica instead of Jessie
