  share your success...

had something published in the real world - beyond e-zines, blogs and facebook?  post a link to the issue or the volume so we can lend our support and pick up a copy.  the arts (poetry) need to be supported.  and that support starts with you spreading the word about whatever success you've had.

Thanks guys and on a more "horror" or mainstream line, check out "Dead G(end)er" and "Not One of Us" for more dark RLR fare. Both forthcoming issues.

A 53 year old publication from the UK "Envoi" will be publishing 4 of mine in the next issue! Very happy to be making a splash on the other side of the pond. Second UK pub in a few months.

That sounds wonderful, Rob. Congrats! And seems to be your kind of publication, very nicely put together. Tom

In poetry, an envoi is a short stanza at the end of a poem used either to address an imagined or actual person or to comment on the preceding body of the poem.

Envoi  by Ezra Pound

Go, dumb-born book,
Tell her that sang me once that song of Lawes:
Hadst thou but song
As thou hast subjects known,
Then were there cause in thee that should condone
Even my faults that heavy upon me lie
And build her glories their longevity.
Tell her that sheds
Such treasure in the air,
Recking naught else but that her graces give
Life to the moment,
I would bid them live
As roses might, in magic amber laid,
Red overwrought with orange and all made
One substance and one colour
Braving time.
Tell her that goes
With song upon her lips
But sings not out the song, nor knows
The maker of it, some other mouth,
May be as fair as hers,
Might, in new ages, gain her worshippers,
When our two dusts with Waller's shall be laid,
Siftings on siftings in oblivion,
Till change hath broken down
All things save Beauty alone.

rob, that's great!  you've taken what you've learned on PC and elsewhere and applied it to the real world and achieved real success.  what's that add up to now?  to my knowledge you've published something like 34 pieces in print magazines this year alone.  and what i'm going to say now is not meant in any way to diminish your success or your talent...but anybody with a certain amount of talent can do what you've done...they just have to have the balls and the drive.  very few do.  fantastic!  keep up the great work.
