  Pigeon Bike et moi
« on: August 31, 2011, 03:13:31 PM » by milner place
This to alert all tha Rob is producing a booklet of my stuff on Joe and Maisie Fay, and from the proofs I've seen is doing a most remarkable and original job. I'm extremely pleased and flattered. I'll leave it to him to fill in the details.

Cheers

Milner, it was absolutely wonderful to put together, and with the base material, couldn't really go wrong. This will be available through PigeonBike in Mid September. So, any and all that wish to drum the drum, please do so. We won't be taking pre-orders, but should have an order site up and ready very soon. As a teaser, how's about two little pics:

i'm fortunate enough to have read the book in manuscript, and have to say that no matter what style Milner chooses write in, he displays complete mastery of the form.  these are spare, terse, wonderfully rendered poems that pull no punches and leave you only wanting more.

That's really good, that flipflop of titles, with who's speaking.

Thanks all for the support. Rob is doing an exceptional job on this - he's such an imaginative editor. And the price is going to be within anyone's range.

And YES IT IS READY! I am beyond pleased with the results. I will have a stack of them Saturday, ready to ship on Tuesday or Wednesday next week (Sept 6, or 7). I want to get this to the world, so, here is the link and pass it along. Milner NEEDS to be read, reread, and then, reread another time:

If you want more details to pass along, you can use this link: http://pigeonbike.blogspot.com/2011/08/coming-soon-from-pigeonbike-milner.html (you can access press release and purchase page).

Folks, this book is marvellous, and I have to admit that the physical object is cool.
