Great reading John, goes without saying. Captures the guts of the poetry.
And, the host, if you watch carefully, you can see his brain working out the words he eventually gets out.
Talk about a duality there.

at the very least it was quite an interesting night.  when it was over, one of the camera people walked up to me and said "i've never heard poetry like that before...ever!".  i thanked her...unhooked the mic and got out of there as quick as i could.  my wife, my dog and a Corona with lime were waiting for me.  i had no reason to stay.

don't know.  i had mine appraised a few years back, but was told i had to make a few improvements before i put it on the market.

a few minutes ago, someone who saw this tv appearance elsewhere said to me that the host needed to step it up...she should have seen him the LAST time i was on the show!  this was a marked improvement.  although i'm glad he very quickly got out of the way.
