Use this board for any multimedia content, including photographs, videos, audio, etc. Of course you can also post multimedia content on other boards, but if you'd like to highlight, say, a recording of yourself reading a poem, then this is the place.

You can embed video and audio directly into a topic simply by pasting the Web address (URL) of that video or audio into a post.

Let's look at an example of how embedding a video or audio clip can be done.

Let's say you find a great video of a poet on YouTube, and you want to share it with the PoetryCircle community. Simply start a new topic in Sights and Sounds (or elsewhere) and then paste the URL of the video or audio into the thread. You can click the Preview button to see how it will display.

Hopefully this will be a feature that allows us to embed more examples of the poets here reading their work aloud. Currently, video and audio from dozens of sites are supported. Your own video or audio clips hosted on a site somewhere on the net should work as well.
