Greetings from the 'burbs of Dallas,Tx, a most unpoetic locale. Art is my first language, but I do enjoy writing tons more than doing laundry.
This board seems to be off to a good start. I'm glad to be among you.

Dear Dale,

Greetings!

Rumba, sway, have a way, violins. Though, what would you say to a complete stranger on the colour cycle of her light-weigh wash? Guitar timbre in the foreground ... rough dancer, walls of blue steel eyes, dance with me ... naah! We would more than like capture all the sights and sounds of a cynical night, Astor Piazzolla style, or the way of a gypsy fire beneath those golden leaves. Humid rhythmical, hum, a soft click of feet and black hand-held pegs. "Hold me, bend me." Magic! What poetry— not classic drum, not Santa Maria— just pure fun.

Isn't writing a great distraction from housework? Though one of my first and favorite publications was ABOUT doing laundry. Weird, I know.

I'm a Texas transplant myself--an ocean lover in the middle of cornfields (literally). Sigh.

Welcome!
Tina
