  War & Peace

War & Peace

peace is the greatest warhorse there is next to truth
good old bellyaching nipples for a poet, those
golden culture wagons waver, just so
stiff go the shoulders of bone collectors, round
wet blossom falls, more and more
unnoticed, never telling, lying where, nor how
understanding not, motherhood's shudder
Her loins hitched to sacrifice, forever weeping
— for us, for so many wrongs

Here, pity all those no-account commanders all across the globe whose efforts cannot yet be rewarded with a listing in "Major wars - 1000+ deaths per year." Don't give up.
