  pride of whitehaven, outward bound
« on: September 05, 2010, 11:37:56 AM » by milner place
obsidian night
shot
with fierce stars

whisper
of a wilful sea

the wake
leaves
all the world
behind

except
six men
a blind dog
and
the rats

Thanks, Tom, Stella. I think I'm content with this one ( a warning sign?). Thanks

Yes to this one, milner.  I think you deserve your contentment here.

Rereading, moving to Picks. S3 provides a second image to the literal one, someone bringing various companions along with him after death! Tom

dear Milner

enjoyed the platonic ethereal landfill Jetsam as a counter point

& glad to hear that you are presently personally burdened
by a new publisher.

look forward to seeing the galley proofs.

Thanks, Lynn. Most important to me.

You've gone further than I with that stanza, Tom, though I see it also, now. As I'm so often making discoveries in my own stuff, I wonder if I'd have got there sometime without your prompt. Heck it don't matter a shrivelled bean, and thanks for the picking.

SL, I forgive you that atrocious 'galley' pun. Fair winds to your sails.
