It Was Sort of Like That
« on: August 23, 2010, 05:13:06 PM » by Rick Stansberger
but only sort of

and since he couldn't explain
exactly how it was different
and why the difference was so crucial
he had to let them go on thinking
it was something it wasn't

which got annoying when
some of them figured out
it wasn't what
they thought he'd said it was
and started thinking
that he didn't know either

but he did know
and he knew he knew
because he could ride his knowledge
down the street
sort of like a unicycle made of air

and when they saw him
they thought
he must know something
they didn't know
and got mad at him
for not sharing it.

This is great fun, Rick. Think you could nix that period in middle as well as parentheses -- with "though" maybe -- for texture. Tom
but only sort of
