Hello everyone,

I just thought I would introduce myself.  My name is Laura Nelson, I live in Portland, Oregon.  By day I'm a licensed clinical social worker, at night a writer.  Like many of us, I've been writing since I was a wee tot, started writing poetry at 8.  Okay, it wasn't very good, might not be very good now at almost 39, but heck, that's why I'm here.  Poetry is my true love and I'm always trying to learn.

Anyone else here from this neck of the woods?
