John Yamrus's book

I read John's new book through today, and all was good reading. What stood out for me are the poems about beloved people. It is really good, reading all of the poems embedded there with each other, a different experience from one here, one there. John and editor made a great whole out of the parts. Tom

tom;
thank you for noticing that. it was wolfgang carstens who noticed the thread that ran thru the manuscript, and he felt that if the poems were arranged properly, the book would read almost like a novel. i'm very very proud of it and very grateful for what they've done for me, and especially grateful to people like you and lavonne and everyone else who've supported the project by ordering it.
thank you very much.

Strangely my copy hasn't arrived yet. Is it being shipped from Canada? Rob Plath's book arrived in no time. I hope it's not lost.

shipped from canada. the first orders (yours among them, i would assume) shipped from the publisher in canada and took (and are taking) forever to arrive. now, orders that are placed thru the distributor (spdbooks.org) ship from Berkeley, Calif. and arrive in days. an unforseen and unfortunate glitch! sorry.

...not to mention that numerous customs agents on both sides of the 49th parallel have been seen ignoring their duties with their noses buried in some unidentified black book with silver lettering...

haha Silent Lotus!!
where did you find that? it's a must have for me
John, don't be fooled
it's just a Canadian ploy to say they are sorry for the delay
by the way,
if I want one shipped to Canada... is it quicker to order it from Berkley?
