  My Own Time
« on: March 05, 2010, 01:45:57 PM » by joseph lofgren
I go to school and I learn
a lot about people who
are dead. That's fine.

Humans are transient
and so it goes
with general logic

that at least
some of the old guys
had something worth saying,

but I keep remembering
what Kate Basham told me:

you need to put down
the books.

She said, at some point,
you need to read, and live,
in your own time.

...I am no longer sure that living has anything to do with time.
