A Steamy, HOT CUP of Struggling

Struggling to find my voice. Or confidence, perhaps, in my voice. Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks.

Don't try too hard, relax, enjoy - even the pain. Most of all, don't worry.

Ha, thanks, Milner. Could you comment on my current voice? How can I make my free-writing more transferable to poetry?

Don't think I can help much, Joseph. One tip might be to think hard on finding the right style and form to suit the 'tone' of each individual poem. So much depends also on how differently people approach their writing, that generalities are mostly of little help. I'd try writing as much as possible, without worrying if 90% goes straight in the bin.

Cheers
