Thank you, Milner. Will think about this of the title, I want to give proper credit to Ros's phrase without an unwieldy epigraph or long footnote. Tom

What happened to the ending about the nurse visiting?  I liked that ending.  Still shines though.  Tis a gem

It's still there, Peter.
You're her next stop!
LOL.
Glad you enjoy this, seriously.

Did Ros really mean M & S?  Or does she mean S & M ?            *gasp*

LOL  Hi Ros.  Glad you're a good sport.   **double gasp**

David is keen on us, eh?    Well, keen on them, we, PC, whatevah!  I like David too.  He's a fun guy and a good poet.

Cheryl,  M&S stands for Marks and Spencer in the UK, which is where we all go for our most respectable and durable clothing :)  S and M must be a different sort of shop altogether! I'll google it!! :o

The poem, Tom, is wondrous.  Love it. The visuals of The Poet scribbling away furiously in a feathered hat, then tossing it to one side and grabbing a tricorn as he turns the page is delectable.  I adore the way he's knotted coloured scarves around his knees to form swags as he strides about the room muttering.

Sue, I just may have to build a new S out of your reply! Thanks, Tom
