Lummox Press

Hi;
I've got a somewhat awkward "favor" to ask of the group. In this horrible economy the book industry has been hit as bad as anyone, especially the small, independant publishers. My publisher, Lummox Press, is struggling along with the rest. I'm asking, if it's within your means, to please go to the Lummoxpress.com site and check out their titles. Lummox is publisher for some of the best stuff out there. If you see something you like, please make a purchase. They take paypal. And, if you don't use paypal and still want to make a purchase, most of their titles are available on amazon. You'll be supporting a great publisher and the arts as well.
Thanks!

Raindog publishes some wonderful books. Some of our editors have been published by him including, Milner Place, Anita Wynn, and John Yamrus. I join John in his appeal.

I'd also suggest that the members disseminate this information on as many sites as they can. I'm off to Twitter and Facebook.

i feel a great honor to be among the people he's published. his Little Red Book series alone is a veritable Who's Who of the small press world. supporting the arts is a good thing. supporting Lummox press is a gooder thing! some of his best full length titles are:
Sea Trails by Pris Campbell (think anais nin meets richard braughtigan)
and
Down This Crooked Road...a kick-ass anthology.
thanks for your help!
and yes, please DO spread the word.
great idea Lavonne!

I've ordered Yamrus plus Sea plus Crooked upon multiple recomendations. This will not save Lummox. They can't rest upon their laurels. They need a new business plan.
