Hi there,
I'm from Leics, UK and have been writing poetry for just over a year now. Am impressed with my meanderings through the site so far.
Looking forward to sharing my poems and yours,
jayne

welcome
janyne
to
www.poetrycircle.com
omens are good, lady jayne with a y
does one address you in Hindi or Arabic
as I understand pixy-style bobs and kimono dresses
are all the rage from Highcross to the Market place
I jest
my memory is short, as was my life on the cut
round your parts (location), quite an exquisite place
Leicester, as I recall
Smethwick lad myself, walked all the way as a boy
(just like in Laurie Lee's The Banks of Sweet Primroses'
or as I walked out one midsummer's morning - fair maid)
I never looked back either, just kept on going
anywho, jayne with a y, sick around and have some fun
if you need help just say the word, it's my pleasure to talk to you
— so, get busy livin'
ciao, ciao
