Welcome to the world of England - North and wet.
« on: March 03, 2009, 12:02:25 PM » by Andrew Oldham
Hello to everyone on here. I couldn't resist joining after Milner Place told me about Poetry Circle. I am one the fortunate few who make a living off their writing (but not their poetry). I was one of the founders of Incwriters and I am managing editor of Incorporating Writing (links below), I have just stepped down as a fiction editor for an online magazine. So, now I have more time to write.

I do some part time lecturing in Creative Writing for the OU and EHU. As ususal in the North of England, deep in the Pennines, the weather is wet with a smattering of gale force winds. Glad to be on here.

Hi Andrew. A Northerner by name and nature. Which side of the Pennines do you fall?

I am in disputed territory, once Yorkshire, once Cheshire, once Lancashire, now in Greater Manchester but everyone still says Lancashire and I'm firmly with that!
