after reading jamesthomashoward's list of favorites from the year, i realized that i have read so many poems that i love on this site, but i have no way of remembering them all.
would it be possible to integrate some sort of bookmarking system in the site so a member can tag poems that can go on a favorites list? i mean, i realize that this isn't being run for profit and these things take time and money, but i thought i'd throw the idea out there anyway.

I thought I had replied to this already!
Anyway, yes, a good idea in theory, but I think it would take up a huge amount of space and the site couldn't support it. What you propose is effectively a personalised picks section for every single member -- that's HUGE!
You can set it up yourself easy enough anyway. Just set up a folder in your favourites/bookmarks. Label it Poetry Circle Picks. Every time you find a poem you want to "pick", just save it as a bookmark and drop it in that folder.

To the oriignal poster, I agree: this is a neat idea.
I think Brian's bookmark idea, though, is the best solution, for a number of reasons.
Create a poetrycircle folder in your favorites or bookmark list, and add poems to that as you see fit.
